Events: Market on Main is in the parking lot at East Depot and Main streets, next to Carmike Cinemas LaGrange 10, from 8 to 10 a.m. Local growers and vendors offer produce, plants, various food and handmade items for sale.

Loyd Presbyterian Church at 550 Upper Glass Bridge Road hosts a farmers market across from the church 8-11 a.m. Fresh vegetables and homemade products; vendors welcome at no charge with those items. 706-594-4951

Faith Baptist Church hosts a free car wash for veterans and will accept donations from all others who get a car wash to fund the church’s Veterans of Faith Ministry. The car wash is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Beechwood Furniture on Commerce Avenue.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church hosts Youth Day at 11 a.m. Jacob Tucker will be guest speaker.

Thankful Baptist Church, 968 Cannonville Road, hosts its homecoming at 2 p.m. with pastor Riccardo Hill of Ferguson Chapel Baptist Church in McDonald as speaker. Dinner served.

Welcome Baptist Church in the Redline Community honors pastor J.R. Ware for his 43rd Pastor Anniversary and 50th year in ministry at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker is the Rev. Allen Simpson III of Canaan Baptist Church.

East Side Baptist Church, 1017 Mason St., hosts Youth Extravaganza at 3 p.m. Minister Jaylin Gates will bring the inspirational message.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Uplifting Your Faith Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road, hosts spiritual counseling/healing at 5 p.m. with Bishop R.L. Darden.

Monday

Events: A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 11 a.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.

Meetings: Troup County Board of Health meets at 8 a.m. in the board room of Troup County Health Department, 900 Dallis St., suite A.

Legacy Museum on Main hosts West Point Lake at 40 Years, a collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper through Sept. 10, exploring the history of the lake and its impact on life in the county. Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St., is open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday. 706-884-1828

The exhibit Our County Collects runs through Aug. 15 at LaGrange Art Museum, 112 Lafayette Parkway. The museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 706-882-3267.
