Dr. Rainey asked me a few weeks ago to join the local Salvation Army board here in LaGrange. Wow, they do not waste any money!

This week I went to their kids’ camp in Jasper, Georgia. What a nice place! What got my attention was that children were having a great time, yet they were polite, quiet and learning more about music than you could believe.

Each room had a different teacher teaching children about music in a different way. There would have been hope for me – it was that good. The housing was excellent and the pool was laid out so smart – you just walked in.

The boys all swam together and the girls all swam together. So amazing to me is that the camp was for four weeks and the biggest problem they has was kids not wanting to go home. The camp only cost $800 for the four weeks and there were scholarships to help with that!

If you want to put your money where no one draws a big salary and the money really goes to help people, this is the place.

I DARE YOU TO VISIT THE CAMP AND SEE FOR YOURSELF! We need your support!

We will take checks, or if you have gym equipment that is being used to hang coats on bring it to us. Thanks in advance.
