Would you like to be smarter? Wealthy? Have more wisdom? Be sought out for advice?

You say, “Sign me up, Coach!” How much will this cost? How many years of my time will it take?

Well, the richest person in the world has made us an easy map that will take just 31 days. There are 31 days in the month and 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs.

You will have Solomon’s advice, the richest person that ever lived, by just reading the book of Proverbs. The question is, will you?

Solomon says we should search for wisdom and knowledge as we would search for silver or buried treasure. We will find that they really last beyond our lifetime. “Every man’s way is right in his own eyes …” Proverbs 21:2

A modern day smart man is Dave Ramsey. He will be in Atlanta Thursday, Sept. 24. You can get tickets at a discount using Promo Code “LAGRANGEFIRSTREALTY” at www.daveramsey.com/events/sml-atlanta-20150924.

If you move fast, tickets start at $39. You will get to see Dave Ramsey and Chris Hogan. The name of the program is “Smart Money.” See You There!

For those that have made bad choices with their credit, there is hope! There is a company that helps repair bad credit faster!

Michael Adams of Georgia Credit Repair Nerds (706-593-2360) can help you. Yes, he will charge you a fee, but paying 20 percent interest on your car loan is dumb so get it fixed and buy a home.

So you have not used your credit very wisely — we do not want to pay people to get it better. Tammy Cox (706-845-6881), a local loan officer, says www.creditkarma.com will work if you will do what it says.

If you do this or pay someone to do it, you must change your habits and spend less than you make. You must pay your bills before they are due, not wasting money on late fees and making your credit worse by paying a day late.

The choice is yours, use this to get your credit in order or pay, but just do it or you will pay higher rates the rest of your life.

“Do something for somebody every day for which you do not get paid.” — Albert Schweitzer
