Area branches of the NAACP host teach-ins 7 p.m. daily at First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, 401 Broad St., as part of the Journey for Justice march from Selma, Ala., to Washington, D.C. Topics are a community mass meeting on Friday, economic justice on Saturday, voting rights on Sunday and legislation on Monday. Teach-ins are free and open to the public.

Events: Market on Main is in the parking lot at East Depot and Main streets, next to Carmike Cinemas LaGrange 10, from 8 to 10 a.m. Local growers and vendors offer produce, plants, various food and handmade items for sale.

God’s Breadbasket, a food pantry serving Hogansville residents, is open 9 a.m.–noon.
