Dave Ramsey says, “No One Is Born Financially Smart!”

Ignorance is not lack of intelligence, it is lack of know-how.

On Oct. 6 at 6:15 p.m. we will have a meeting at Assembly of God on South Davis Road. It’s open to the public for ideas to help your money make it to the end of the month.

Yes, we will have a short meeting with several different speakers talking about using your money the smart way. A local loan officer will talk about loans and keeping your credit in good shape.

I will be talking on setting goals and keeping yourself out of trouble. Jason Branson, the pastor, will talk about what the Bible says about money.

There is NO CHARGE, so please come out and get a few ideas that may make your month have less stress on paying the bills. If you’re driving a new BMW and are broke, this may be a place you want to come and get some fresh ideas.

PROBLEM: Keeping up with the Joneses.

SECOND PROBLEM: The Joneses can’t do math.

Yes, we will talk about that also on Oct. 6, 2015. Are you totally broke and driving a Jaguar?

Getting in shape with your money is a lot like being 70 pounds overweight — you did not do it in one night.

Come, enjoy and learn some new habits. I would suggest getting a head start by reading “The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey.
