Troup High’s Dig Pink event was held on Monday, with the volleyball teams from Troup, Starr’s Mill and The Heritage School participating. The event was created to raise money to fight cancer, as well as to honor those who are fighting the disease. There was a big crowd on hand that included a bunch of athletes from different sports at Troup. The school’s drum line performed after the first match, and the show choir sang the “Star Spangled Banner” before the first match.
