Events: The Antique Automobile Club of America, Georgia/Alabama Region, will hold its 34th Annual Antique Auto Meet from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at LaGrange Mall, 1501 Lafayette Parkway. Door prizes, money tree drawing, people’s choice awards and 50/50 raffle on tap. Proceeds to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Troup County Homeless Coalition. Junior Service League of LaGrange hosts its annual attic sale at the old Westbrook Tire building, 308 Main St. in LaGrange. Early admission at 8 a.m. is $5. General admission 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. is $1.

Jefferson Street Market featuring local wares and produce is 9:30 a.m. to noon at 625 Jefferson St.

Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain hosts “Marvelous Monarchs” 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at the Lily Classroom in the Callaway Discovery Center. Attendees can learn about the monarch butterfly’s life cycle, flight and details of the migratory journey. Class includes a visit to the Day Butterfly Center outdoor garden for tips on how to attract Monarchs. Fee is $25 per guest; $22.50 per annual passholder.

Friends of LaGrange Memorial Library hosts the First Saturday Book Sale 10 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Friends of the Library Book Shop at the library on Alford Street.

LaGrange Art Museum, 112 Lafayette Parkway, hosts the Celebrate Summer art show featuring the work of artists in the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange and local artist Sarah Swanson through Sept. 26. Also on display will be painted violins and cellos that were beyond repair from years of use and will be auctioned Sept. 17 to raise money for the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra Guild’s youth programs.
