HOGANSVILLE — In celebration of Pre-K week, Georgia Rep. Robert Trammell, state House District 132, recently visited Hogansville Elementary School.

In support, Jack Eatman, coordinator for the Troup Family Connection Authority, and Patty Youngblood, president of United Way of West Georgia and TFCA board member, also attended.

Trammell read stories from several popular children’s books to the school’s three pre-K classes.

“The visit was greatly enjoyed and appreciated by the pre-K students and teachers,” said April Cook, Hogansville Elementary media specialist.

Troup Family Connection Authority and collaborative partner United Way of West Georgia have strategic plans and programs that target improving early learning outcomes for the community’s young children.

Hogansville Elementary pre-K teachers are Meghan Hull, Emily Olinger and Lindsey Mitchell.
