Events: Jefferson Street Market featuring local wares and produce is 9:30 a.m. to noon at 625 Jefferson St.

Hills & Dales, 1916 Hills and Dales Drive, hosts its ninth annual Children’s Christmas Celebration 9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. at the visitor’s center. Activities include decorating gingerbread houses and crafting Christmas ornaments, and features Santa and Christmas snacks. Free and open to the public. www.hillsanddales.org

Safe Haven Friends of Felines will have kittens up for adoption 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Tractor Supply Company at South Davis Road and Lafayette Parkway.

The Active Life wellness center, 140 Ragland St., hosts dancing 7–10 p.m. with Jimmy Smith and New River Band. Cost is $5 per person. Adults of all ages welcome.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Waterford Subdivision off Mooty Bridge Road invites the community to its annual luminary display 6-9 p.m. More than 2,000 luminaries line the streets of Waterford making a spectacular sight.

Churches: True Love Missionary Baptist Church hosts Auxiliary Day at 2:30 p.m. Guest church is Sardis Baptist and pastor Walter Donell Jr.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Uplifting Your Faith Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road, hosts spiritual counseling/healing at 5 p.m. with Bishop R.L. Darden.

Monday

Events: A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.

Meetings: Troup County Board of Health meets at 8 a.m. in the board room of Troup County Health Department, 900 Dallis St., suite A.

Exhibits

LaGrange Art Museum presents the exhibition Mirror Mirror through Jan. 16. in partnership with Hills & Dales for a year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Callaway family home. Featuring portraiture mirroring portraiture, the exhibit takes a look at portraiture across centuries and cultures, and will include some Troup County residents. LaGrange Art Museum, 112 Lafayette Parkway, is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 706-882-3267
