PINE MOUNTAIN — Callaway Gardens this year will host holiday-themed dinners and a New Year’s Eve fireworks event.

Christmas Eve dinner

Christmas meals prepared by Executive Chef Michael Gonzalez and his culinary team are on tap.

The Gardens Restaurant will be featuring a special plated meal for Christmas Eve. Patrons may choose their appetizer, entrée and dessert for their three-course meal.

Entrée selections include apple rosemary roasted natural turkey breast, smoked prime rib, salmon en croute, and maple grilled pork porterhouse.

The Gardens Restaurant Christmas Eve Dinner is $58 per person plus tax and gratuity. For reservations between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., call 1-855-901-2154.

Christmas Day buffet

Mountain Creek Inn Ballrooms on Christmas Day hosts a holiday meal.

The Christmas Day buffet will feature turkey breast, salt roasted steamship round, and made-to-order omelets. The buffet will be complete with all of the trimmings such as soup, salad and appetizers, antipasto, seasonal fruit and artisanal cheese displays and a buffet of desserts.

The Christmas Day Ballroom Brunch is $48 per adult, half-price for children from six to 10, and free for children five and younger. It will be served 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

New Year’s Eve celebration

Partygoers at the New Year’s Eve Fantasy & Fireworks Celebration will have the opportunity to drive their personal vehicle through Fantasy In Lights between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

When they return to the Robin Lake Beach area, they can park to begin the evening’s celebration. Two bands will perform beginning at 7 p.m.

As the excitement builds toward the midnight hour, a big screen will showcase college football playoffs and then “the” countdown from New York. Fireworks will welcome in 2016 with a bang! Food and drink will be available for purchase.
