Triumph Holiness Church, 502 Brown St., hosts its 23rd annual End of the Year Service at 5 p.m. Guest speaker is pastor William Harrison.

New Year’s EVe

Events: The Active Life hosts a New Year’s dance 8 p.m.–12:30 a.m. with The New River Band. All adults welcome. Admission is $10.
