Troup County deputies said suspect last seen in red sedan

LaGRANGE — Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office were searching Monday afternoon for a man who brazenly broke into a home in the 100 block of Mount Zion Church Road just before 9:30 a.m. Monday while people were inside the residence.

Chief Investigator Capt. Mike Caldwell said the suspect, described as a black male, kicked in a side door to the home, stole some items, then made his get-away in a red vehicle believed to be a red sedan.

TCSO investigators quickly arrived on scene and began canvassing the home plus taking taking pictures of the scene.

Caldwell said Monday afternoon investigators were looking for the suspect and car.
