LaGRANGE — Troup County School System is preparing for the upcoming Pre-K and Kindergarten registration scheduled Feb. 1-5. If a parent or legal guardian does not register their child or children during these dates, a classroom spot is not guaranteed.

“Young children starting school are typically excited and anticipating the first day they get to walk into a classroom,” said Shanitra Ransom, TCSS coordinator of student assignment and McKinney-Vento District liaison. “Registration is a part of making that transition a success. It allows for parents to receive school information early on, so their child can be ready to learn when school starts.”

Parents or legal guardians must present required documentation before a child can register into any Troup County school.
