A dispute over fraudulent debit card charges may stay in the family for a couple of LaGrange residents.

A man called police Monday afternoon and said he believed his sister stole his replacement debit card and used it without his knowledge.

According to the victim, his sister helped him set up his bank account and also knew the pin number.

He told police when he called the card company, they said the new debit card had been reissued and used on Jan. 2 at a local convenience store.

Whoever used the card left only $5 in the account, the victim stated.

The sister denied all accusations and said other people also check the mail at the residence.

Police were investigating.
