LaGrange police responded to West Georgia Medical Center about 2 p.m. Monday after staff told them they were treating a man injured in a fight.

The victim told officers he was walking on Bell Street near Whitesville Road to see some family members, when a red Chrysler 300 pulled up beside him.

The man told police three unknown black males jumped out of the car and started beating him.

He said once the suspects were finished, they re-entered their vehicle and left the area.

According to the police report, the victim had a laceration on his forehead and scuff marks on his forearms.

Officers said the victim became uncooperative with police when they asked him for the address of the relatives he said he was going to visit.

The case is under investigation.
