Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the community’s help locating a suspect in two business burglaries.

According to investigators, a man driving what appears to be a silver Mitsubishi Lancer broke into the Happy Stop convenience store on Hamilton Road on Dec. 6 and took an unknown number of Newport cigarettes.

Sheriff’s officials believe the same man broke into Sunny’s Place on Bartley Road on Jan. 29 and took an undetermined amount of cash.

TCSO investigators asked anyone with information on the suspect or the car to call the sheriff’s office at 706-883-1616 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
