Mount Gilead Baptist Church on Cedar Street celebrates Family and Friends Day at 2 p.m. Guests are the Rev. Jackie Banks and New Zion Baptist Church of Lanett, Ala.

Sardis Baptist Church, 1308 Lindsey St., celebrates the 46th anniversary of its Usher Board at 2 p.m. Guest speaker is pastor Frankie Hutchinson and the Evergreen Baptist Church of Valley, Ala.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Exhibits

LaGrange Art Museum’s First LaGrange Southeast Regional juried exhibition is underway and will be on display through Saturday, April 2. The show features work by only Southeastern artists. LaGrange Art Museum is located at 112 Lafayette Parkway and is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reach the museum at 706-882-3267.

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16.
