LaGRANGE — Deciding “what’s for lunch?” is now easier for students and parents in Troup County schools.

Chartwells K12 and Troup County Schools have launched Nutrislice, a new web and mobile app that provides daily digital menus, and nutrition and allergen information for school meals from a smartphone or computer.

Nutrislice can be accessed online at http://troup.nutrislice.com/ and a free smartphone app for Apple and Android devices.

“Nutrislice is changing the way Troup County students engage with the cafe,” said Brittney Berling, resident dietitian at Chartwells K12. “The menu comes to life through photos and descriptors, important health and wellness information as well as nutrition and food education.”

The Nutrislice app also offers users the opportunity to rate the foods in their cafeteria, providing real-time feedback to the Chartwells K12 chefs and dietitians.

For more information on the free Nutrislice app and menu offerings in Troup County Schools, contact Brittney Berling at brittney.berling@compass-usa.com or at 706-415-5419.
