I’m the mother of a skateboarding son. He is going to be 30 this summer and is still skateboarding near where he lives in Atlanta on the Beltline. When he was growing up we traveled to other towns to find skateboard parks.

If LaGrange builds a well-designed park, it will be used and enjoyed for years to come and will be a source of civic pride. My son suggests “Team Pain” as a great skateboard park designer.

It is gratifying to know that our city is taking this project seriously.

I’d like to see an area created for viewing the skateboarders. They are amazing and they appreciate an audience.
