Woman injured in alleged knife attack

One woman is recovering from minor injuries after allegedly being attacked by another woman with a knife inside a home in the 1100 block of Park Avenue.

LaGrange police responded to a dispute at the home Friday about 11:45 p.m. where two women said another woman attacked one of them with a knife. One of the women also told police she believed the suspect was having a mental crisis at the time of the attack.

The suspect was taken to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center for an evaluation. The woman who was cut with the knife was treated at the scene.
