LaGRANGE — A portion of Towns Road is closed for repairs, the Troup County Roads and Engineering Department announced this morning.

Workers will be repairing a culvert just south of Costley Road that was damaged by floods in December. It is expected to last three to four weeks.

Part of Towns Road was closed previously to repair another culvert.

Troup County Engineer James Emery said this will be the last road repair stemming from damage caused by the December flooding.
