LaGRANGE — A woman told police she was kidnapped and raped Friday morning.

The victim, whom officers met at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, said she walked from Johnson Street to Lafayette Parkway about 5:30 a.m. with her boyfriend, who was going to work. After he was at work, she was walking back along the parkway when a white truck with brown or maroon decals pulled in front of her near Poplar Circle.

The driver pointed a gun at her and told her to get in the truck. The man drove them to the parking lot of Gardner Newman Middle School, where he raped her, she told police.

The man was described as white, in his late 30s to early 40s with facial hair and wearing blue jeans and a hat.

Police were investigating.
