LaGRANGE — A woman told police she was kidnapped and raped Friday morning.

The victim, whom officers met at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, said she walked from Johnson Street to Lafayette Parkway about 5:30 a.m. with her boyfriend, who was going to work. After he was at work, she was walking back along the parkway when a white truck with brown or maroon decals pulled in front of her near Poplar Circle, according to a police report.

The driver pointed a gun at the victim and told her to get in the truck, she said. The man drove them to the parking lot of Gardner Newman Middle School, where he raped her, she reported.

The man was described only as white, in his late 30s to early 40s with facial hair and wearing blue jeans and a hat.

Police were investigating, but had not identified any suspects as of this morning.
