LaGRANGE — Investigators this morning continued to search for suspects after three men were wounded during a possible drive-by shooting while they were standing in the front yard of a home in the 100 block of Kings Park Lane.

The shooting happened about 6:53 p.m. Tuesday in a small neighborhood just off Hamilton Road.

When LaGrange police officers arrived at the house, they found two victims trying to leave the scene, stated investigators. One man had gunshot wounds to his leg and back; the other man was shot in his leg.

Both victims told investigators they were shot by an unknown assailant driving a gray Nissan vehicle. The two men were taken to the hospital for treatment.

As the victims were being transported, investigators learned a third man was already at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to his back, stated LaGrange police. He was also hurt during the same incident.

Police said this morning he was in critical but stable condition.

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call the LaGrange Police Department at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
