Letter: Let the people speak

Published 12:00 am Tuesday, July 12, 2016

I am hoping our voters will stand strongly for right.

We cast our votes according to our conscience. They should count.

Talk about an open or contested convention is an “establishment” out. Not the people but “me, myself and I” is a selfish and unfair attitude.

The majority or plurality is the only way the vote in the convention should go. Looking for delegates to change to one’s side is a dishonest way to win the nomination.

For the sake of this country, let the people speak.
