Lamar and Tracy Lester of LaGrange announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Kate Lester, to Justin Dakota Calvert, son of Kelly and Katy Calvert of LaGrange.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jesse and Gail Lester of Pine Mountain. She is a 2013 graduate of Troup High School and is currently enrolled in the LaGrange College nursing program. She is employed by WellStar Health System in LaGrange.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ken and Ann Schmidt of Ames, Iowa, and Edgard Tejada of Santa Clara, California. He is a 2015 graduate of Roland-Story High School in Story City, Iowa. He is employed by Lynarc Welding Supply Company in LaGrange.

The wedding ceremony is set for 6 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2016, at Abby Manor in Greenville.
