1 man hurt in armed robbery

The LaGrange Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of a man in the 700 block of Chattahoochee Street about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

The victim said he was approached by three unidentified males, a police report states. One of them took out a gun and demanded the victim’s cash.

The victim was somehow injured during the robbery, the police report states. Investigators did not say how the man was hurt, but said his injuries were minor. He declined medical attention.

The victim told investigators the robbers fled in a vehicle that was parked in the 600 block of Chattahoochee Street.

In another reported robbery, LaGrange police responded to a call from a woman who claimed her child’s father snatched a cellphone from her during an argument and fled from around Union Street near Brookside Terrace about 11:20 p.m. Sunday, said LPD investigators. She was not hurt in the incident.

Police are investigating.
