LaGRANGE — Investigators with the LaGrange Police Department may be looking for multiple suspects in a shooting about 1:10 a.m. Monday at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Mooty Bridge Road.

Personnel at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center called police after a man arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

The victim said he was sitting outside the front door of the apartment when he was shot in the right foot, a police report states.

Two witnesses to the shooting gave a different testimony. One said two males tried to sell a pistol to him and the victim, states the police report. When the two men declined, the two suspects continued walking up a driveway to Mooty Bridge Road, turned back and allegedly fired four or five times at the victim and himself, stated the witness.

Another witness said she was inside the apartment when she heard two people arguing, the police report states. She went outside and saw the suspects allegedly fire the weapon.

Investigators are still trying to question the victim to find out exactly what happened.

The case was still under investigation this morning.
