Teen riding bicycle hit by car

LaGRANGE — The LaGrange police traffic division this morning continued to investigate a collision between a car and a bicycle that seriously injured a teenager just after 10 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Turner Street.

A 17 year old was riding his bicycle out of Tall Pines Apartments at 150 Turner St. when he was hit by a westbound Toyota Camry on Turner Street, said LaGrange police officers.

The driver told officers the teen crossed in front of her car, causing her to collide with the bike, police said.

The 17 year old was seriously injuries and airlifted to a hospital in Columbus. His condition was unavailable at press time this morning.

The driver of the Camry was not hurt, said officers.

Police said charges may be pending following the investigation into the wreck.
