LaGRANGE — BaD Bowtie Boutique is raising funds and supplies for a drive to purchase 20 backpacks stuffed with items for college students in the west Georgia area.

“We will stuff the back pack with classroom supplies, personal hygiene and cleaning items for the dorms and a Walmart gift card,” said Sandy Lee, one of the organizers. “We are hoping to raise enough funds through a gofundme account to purchase at least two iPads and a laptop for a few students who do not have the funds to purchase one of their own.”

Supplies or funds may dropped off at the following locations until Aug. 12:

• Whimzey, 6 E. Main St.

• Signs4Less, 1304 Hogansville Road.

• Simply Self Storage, 2170 West Point Road.
