LaGRANGE — At least one person was killed in a crash on Hammett Road just after 7 a.m. Monday, stated the Georgia State Patrol.

There was little information on the wreck as of press time Monday evening.

The accident happened near Nelson Road and involved someone driving a red Ford truck, said GSP.

Troopers were still finishing the accident report Monday afternoon. They did not release the name of the person killed pending notification of family.
