Jeff and Deena Simmons of LaGrange announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Lindley, to Jack Wardle, son of Buck and Laurie Wardle of Martinsville, Virginia.

The bride-eject is the granddaughter of Larry and Ramona Lange of Abbeville, South Carolina, and great-granddaughter of the late V.H. and Janet Houser of LaGrange. She is a 2011 graduate of LaGrange High and 2016 graduate of Mississippi College School of Nursing. She is employed by WellStar Health Systems in LaGrange.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Robert Wardle and the late Constance Yates Wardle of Salem, Virginia, and the late Priscilla Walker Newman of Jasper, Georgia. He is a 2011 graduate from Wardle Academy Home of Education and is currently attending Liberty University pursuing a degree in counseling.

The wedding ceremony is set for 3 p.m. on Sept. 3 at First Presbyterian Church.
