Sweetland Craft Beer and Music Festival, 3-8 p.m., Sweetland Amphitheatre. Several breweries will be there from across the southeast. The festival will include live music, local food vendors, local business vendors, nonprofit educational booths, games and more. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Chattahoochee Riverkeepers. Chattahoochee Riverkeepers presents West Point Lake Heritage, 6-8 p.m. Leaving from Highland Marina Resort, Sally Bethea, director of Chattahoochee Riverkeepers from 1994-2014, will discuss the role CRK has played in improving the water quality of communities downstream of Atlanta, and especially West Point Lake. West Point native and history buff Stephen Johnson will share tales of Native Americans who once lived along the Chatthoochee River as well as how West Point residents fared floods before West Point Lake was formed.
