WEST POINT – Jehovah Jireh Bible Institute of Higher Learning is opening a new learning center at Bethlehem Baptist Church in West Point.

Willie T. Edmondson is the longtime pastor of the church and also will serve as the senior dean of the Learning Center.

“What I want to accomplish is trying to better educate Christian men and women,” said Edmondson.

With the addition of the school, Bethlehem Baptist Church will have an accredited internationally known Bible college. JJBIHL is chartered with the state of Alabama and the state of Georgia. The institution offers various certificate and degree programs of study and training in religion, bible, divinity, ministry, and theology in the ecclesiastical field. JJBIHL degree programs of study consist of associate, bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees.

All students must meet certain academic prerequisites to enroll in a certificate or degree program of study. Any student that qualifies and meet all prerequisite requirements and is accepted into JJBIHL Doctoral Program of Study must complete required courses, credit hours, and finish an approved action research-dissertation in order to graduate from JJBIHL doctoral program of study. Jehovah Jireh Bible Institute Higher Learning is an approved institution for onsite, online, independent study, and distance learning.

The Jehovah Jireh Bible Institute of Higher Learning is accredited by Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC). The institute has earned premier status with ASIC for its commendable areas of operation. ASIC accreditation helps students and parents make a more informed choice and will also help a school, college, university, training provider or distance education provider, demonstrate to the international student body that they are a high quality institution.

JJBIHL will have pre-registration and orientation at the West Point Learning Center Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4-5 at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 1111 E. 10th St., West Point.
