Suspects damage business trying to break into store

LaGrange Police are searching for two suspects caught on camera allegedly trying to break into the Pawn Express store at 400 Hines Street just before 11 p.m. Sunday night.

The business’ surveillance system showed the two suspects approach the store carrying book bags with bandanas covering their faces, the report stated.

The suspects appear to use a hammer to break out two windows, according to the video and police report.

But the windows have metal bars across the them which prevented the suspects from entering the store, the report stated.

The cost to repair both windows was estimated at $1,000.
