Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Crowe, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at his residence. Tommy was born May 13, 1934 in LaGrange, Georgia, the son of the late John J. “J.J.” Crowe and Martha King Crowe. He was a founding member and contract signer of Grace Baptist Church, choir member and former Deacon. Mr. Crowe was retired from Ford Motor Company (Hapeville) with 33 years of service as a maintenance electrician. He was a emeritus member of Elm City Lodge #544 F. & A.M., LaGrange Shrine Club, Yarrab Temple (Atlanta).

 

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Nichelle Crowe Hellman and Ken of LaGrange, two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael A. Crowe and Deb of Taylorsville, Kentucky and Emory Crowe and Kandy of LaGrange, Ten grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, brothers, Walter Crowe and Rachel and Bobby Crowe and JoAnn.

 

The family will be receiving family and friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3p.m. Sunday at the church with Rev. Donnie Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Shadowlawn Cemetery.
