Mr. Peter Robinson, 75, of LaGrange, GA passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Hospice LaGrange.

 

Mr. Robinson was born October 24, 1941 in LaGrange, GA to the late Lewis Franklin Robinson and Martha Lee Redding Robinson. He was a faithful member and Deacon of First Baptist Church on the Square. Mr. Robinson was a Hospice Volunteer and former Board member of American Red Cross. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, with a love and exceptional talent for cooking.  Mr. Robinson was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Robinson.

 

Survivors include his wife, Jean Johnson Robinson; daughters, Angie and Gary Martin, Christy and Jared Elder both of LaGrange, GA, Nancy Bayne of Lanexa, VA; grandchildren, Maggie and Mack Martin, Luke and Sally Elder, Hunter Bayne; sister, Penny and Kern Williams; son-in-law, Jimmy Bayne; sister-in-law, Martha Ogletree of Griffin, GA; nieces, Lee and Carson Williams, Susan Kent; nephews, Lewis and Linda Robinson, III and Chris and Lisa Robinson; other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral Services will be held 3:00pm Thursday December 8, 2016 at First Baptist Church on the Square with Pastor Cade Farris and Dr. Paul Baxter officiating. A private burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
