Doris Moon Davis, 94, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away Sunday,  December , 11,  2016 at a local care center .

She is a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia and attended Gulf Beach Baptist Church in Panama City Beach, FL. Doris was a member of The Order Of The Eastern Star in LaGrange, Ga.    She retired as a registered nurse and was a director of nursing for City- County Hospital/ West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Ga. Doris was nurse of the year for the state of GA in 1965.  She worked at Gulf Coast Community Hospital 1977-1987.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband William Bradley “Doc” Davis and 5 sisters.

She  is  survived by her children Brad Davis (Claire), Bert Davis (Nina), and Micheal Davis. Grandchildren Tim Davis (Joy), Chris Davis (Billie Kaye), Brian Davis, Brent Davis, Dana Davis, Andy Davis, Troy Davis, Hayley Davis, and Hallie Davis ; and  seven great- grandchildren; niece Brenda (Owen) Chaffin ; nephew Jeffery (Katherine) Lynn.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M.  Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Kent – Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Chaplain Chris Davis officiating .   Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Order of the Eastern Star Georgia 475 Edgewood Avenue LaGrange, GA 30241.
