LaGRANGE- LaGrange Blueprint and Office Supplies at 229 South Davis Road is open to serve the public in multiple ways.

Originally called Cartridge World, the store initially focused on selling recycled ink and toner cartridges for printers, copiers and other office equipment. In 2011, owner Rob Ellis started to put more emphasis on the printing aspect instead of just selling print cartridges and with that he changed the name of the store that would best represent the direction the business was going in.

“I’ve always had an interest in having a print store,” said Ellis. “When I was in partnership with some people in Columbus for a while, the store was initially called Cartridge World. I later wanted to shift the narrow focus from selling just ink and toner to more of a focus in printing.”

The independent business provides different services for customers like repairing printers, selling ink and toner, delivering printers if needed, designing banners and printing out pages in a variety of sizes, but the print shop mainly specializes in working on architect and engineering printouts in wide formats and in numerous colors for construction contractors.

“The customers that come in the most are construction contractors,” said Ellis. “The business concept we like to follow is providing a very quick delivery. When a construction contractor comes in and tells us what they need done, our job is to create a drawing that is high-quality and large. The drawings need to be big enough so workers can see it well and the ink can’t be smeared. We want to supply immediate fulfilment for the construction project there working on.”

Ellis stresses the importance of getting the right description and outline for a project correct.

“It’s urgent that the construction people get accurate drawings. They work from these drawings. The construction contractors depend on us for service they absolutely need.”

When it comes to thinking about what stands out about the LaGrange Blueprint and Office Supplies, manager Derek Baldridge has a quick response.

“We’ll local and the cheapest option in town,” said Baldridge.

“There is a print place in Columbus and one in Newnan that do similar things that we do but we’ll very convenient,” said Ellis. “We’ll local, quick, we can deliver and we’ll here for the customers if they need us.”

LaGrange Blueprint and Office Supplies is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
