Wadene P. Taylor, 74, of LaGrange, GA passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice.

 

Mrs. Taylor was born February 24, 1942 in Chattanooga, TN to the late George W. Powers and Brenice Lee Powers-Whitlock. She was a 1960 Graduate of LaGrange High School and faithful member of Broad Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Taylor worked in interior design and the trucking industry for a number of years. During her tenure she was an Office Manager for West Point Pepperell and Transportation Director for Rubbermaid. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie B. Taylor, Jr. and her daughter, DeLee Jones.

 

Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Kathy) Taylor, Dublin, GA; Daughter, Gina (Duane) Lardon, Austin, TX; son, Barry (Dana) Taylor, Lago Vista, TX; daughter, Jan Gibson, LaGrange, GA; son, Tim (Lori) Taylor, Mobile, AL; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Broad Street Church of Christ, LaGrange, GA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Heart Association.
