Sandra Huffstetler, 71 of Southern Pines, NC passed on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A gathering of friends and family will be held 4PM on Tuesday, December 27^th 2016 at the Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.

Mrs. Huffstetler was born August 5, 1945 in Burlington, NC. She later moved to Moore County in the 1970’s where she worked for the NCNB branch bank in Southern Pines for many years. She and her late husband George had a love for the VFW volunteering their time with different activities. She loved to cook, travel, and spend time with her family whom she loved very much. Her last few years were spent at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living in Southern Pines where she made many friends and was well loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Huffstetler and her parents, Roy Lee Jones and Velma Mae Smith Jones.

She is survived by her son, David Lee Forbis and wife Virginia Gray of Aberdeen. One granddaughter, Kimberly Brooke Forbis of Greenville, SC.
