Cora Mae Jones, age 64 of 231 S. Page Street died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Florence Hand Home.  Mrs. Jones, a native of Lagrange was the daughter of the late Ethel Mae Herndon.  She attended the Troup county Schools and she was a member of Union Springs Methodist Church. Survivors include her stepfather, Andrew Herndon (Pauline) of Lagrange, Ga.; son M. Untrell Jones (Tomonica) of Newnan, Ga.; daughter, Tontalay S. Jones (Victor) of Lagrange, Ga.; stepson, Larry Alford of Atlanta, Ga.; stepdaughter, Jumoke D. Jones of Oakland, Ca.; 10 Grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Jones, son Marcell Jones and Grandparents, Coleman and Ethel Simpson. Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Mae Jones will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of West Georgia Mortuary. Pastor Darrell Combs will officiate with burial at Southview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at her home.
