Mrs. Jill Yvette Cox  LaVoie, age 52, of LaGrange, passed away on December 25, 2016 at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.  Mrs. LaVoie was born in Austell, Georgia on September 25, 1964.  Her greatest joy in life was caring for the needs of her family, and she will be greatly missed.  Survivors include her father, James and Betty Cox; mother, Sarah Florence; husband, John Richard Philip LaVoie of LaGrange; sons, Christopher Newbern and his wife Lisa of Bremen and Matthew Sprayberry and his wife Carolynn of Raleigh, NC; daughters, Cherise Costley and her husband Stephen of LaGrange and Lindsey Kirkland and her husband Tim of LaGrange; brothers, Jimmy Cox (Terri), Jerry Cox, Brad Lovvorn (Nancy); sisters, Joy Baker, Tammy King (Scott) and Sonia Seay (Ronny); grandchildren, Hannah, Haylee, Payton, K.C., Lyla, Connor, Tristan, MaKenna, Waylon, Colton, Timmy and Hutson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Callaway Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at the Meadoway Gardens.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.  On line condolences may be sent to the family at http://www.higginsfuneralhomes.com./  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harmony House at http://www.harmonyhousega.org/.   Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, 706-884-7117.
