Mrs. Sue Elizabeth Middlebrooks Webb, age 104, of LaGrange, passed away on January 2, 2017 at the LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Mrs. Webb was born on January 7, 1912 in Oak Grove, Georgia to the late John Wiley Middlebrooks and Lettie Virginia Hardy Middlebrooks.  She worked for Milliken along caring for the needs of her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Thompson and her grandson, Lee Vessell, Jr.  Survivors include her husband, Wade Webb; daughter, Pat Vessell; granddaughter, Kim Vessell Brauer; great grandchildren, Zachary Brauer, Scott Brauer; step daughters, Cathie Lane, Ginny Nelson and Cindy Collins; great grand dogs, Butterbean and Zoe. The family would like to thank the Frank and Nancy Mickel for their love and friendship.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Rev. Aaron McCollough and Rev. Paul Botica officiating.  Interment to follow at the Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.  At other times, family will receive friends at the home of granddaughter, Kim Bauer, 100 Huntington Drive in LaGrange.
