Monquel Le’Deris Ligon passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 26, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.

 

He was born June 26, 1994 in Louisville, Kentucky to Taffee Ligon.

 

“Quel” attended Valley High School and played Freshman football. He worked in manufacturing.

 

Survivors include his mother, Taffee Ligon (Alonao) Hansberry; sons, Calden Briton, Avery Ligon, and Kiyan Weaver; brothers, Kyron Ligon, Kurrell Ligon, Mondrell Ligon, Teawann Ligon, and David Huff, Jr.; sister, Hailey Ligon; maternal grandparents, Debra Ligon and Jeffrey Edmondson, LaGrange, GA; Rhonda (Jack) Vincent; great grandmother, Christine (James) Harris; several uncles, aunts, great aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Confidence Baptist Church. Rev. Travis Bladingburg will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
