Lottie Mae Stephens passed away Wednesday at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

She was born June 26, 1960 to Minnie Kate Stephens and the late, Jimmie Lee Stephens in LaGrange, Georgia.

 

She was educated in the Troup County School System and graduated from LaGrange High School. She later attended West Georgia Tech and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant until her retirement.

 

She was a member of On A Mission for Christ Church, LaGrange, Georgia.

 

Survivors include her son, Demetris Laswan Stephens; mother, Minnie Kate Stephens; siblings, Jimmie Lee Brisco, Minnie Pearl Fannin, Jerry Lee Stephens, Ricky Lee Stephens, and Sylvia Jean Stephens; aunts, Dorris Green, Lillie Pearl Smith, Alvalene Martin, and Juanita Hearn; nephews, niece, and a host of cousins.

 

The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday at 2:00 at On A Mission For Christ. Pastor Janice Willoughby will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.
