Donald Glenn Neighbors, age 85, passed away on January 13, 2017 at the Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, GA. Mr. Donald was born to the late Lewis Neighbors and Evelyn Crawford Neighbors on August 11, 1931 in Heard County, GA. He was part of the United States Air Force and then worked for Milliken as a mechanic. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by extended family members. He is leaving behind his spouse, Ruth Duke Neighbors of LaGrange; daughters, Sharon Sanders (Jim) of Jasper, Donna Smith (Jeff) of Lawrenceville; brothers, Kenneth Neighbors (Sue) of LaGrange, Lamar Neighbors (Peggy) of Roanoke, AL.; sister, Norma Kistler of Heard County; grandchildren Lori Godfrey (Erin) of Kennesaw, Meagan Galle (Chris) of Dunwoody, Elizabeth Sanders of Marietta, Clayton Smith (Sara) of Clarksville, TN.; and 9 great grandchildren.
