LaGRANGE – Investigators with the LaGrange Police Department are searching for two men who broke into the McDonalds restaurant at 146 Commerce Avenue early Monday morning and allegedly stole money from the store.
The morning manager told LPD officers she noticed the front door of the restaurant was slightly open when she arrived at work around 4:15 a.m. on Monday.
The manager still entered the store and discovered money on the floor and the door to the safe was also opened, the report stated.
LPD investigators reviewed surveillance video and noticed two males reportedly entered the front door of the restaurant, walk directly to the safe and open it, according to the police report.
The suspects then take an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving out the back door of the business, the report said.
