LAGRANGE – It was Flint River’s night.

In a showdown between the two region rivals on Friday, visiting Flint River won the girls’ game 41-20, and it later won the boys’ game 51-35.

Laney Anderson led the way for the Lady Warriors with 11 points, and Lincoln Anderson paced the Warriors with 14 points.

Lafayette Christian School’s teams were also at home Friday night against Holy Ground.

It was a winning night for the Cougars, who cruised to a 67-47 victory behind Gregory Benefield’s 22-point, and 12-rebound performance.

In the girls’ game, it was Lafayette Christian falling 61-27, and Abbey Hudson led the home team with 15 points.
