Nancy T. Munzert, 82, of Pine Mountain, GA passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Wellstar West Georgia Health.

 

Mrs. Munzert was born August 25, 1934 in Rochester, NY to the late John Anthony Taskett and Arlene Ida Whitehair Taskett. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in LaGrange, Church of the Holy Family in Columbus, GA and Christ the King Church in Pine Mountain, GA. Mrs. Munzert graduated from the University of Rochester with an Accounting Degree. She owned and operated Taskett & Taskett, PC with her Father for over 25 years. Mrs. Munzert was a Pink Lady at West Georgia Medical Center, a member of the Mushrooms and volunteered a lot of her time in Church activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Munzert and daughter, Mariann Munzert.

 

Survivors include her children, Beth and Martin Garinger of Placerville, CA, John Munzert of Pine Mountain, GA, Cathy and David Ernisse of Rochester, NY, Carolann and Don Newton of Williamston, SC; brother-in-law, Thomas Munzert of Macedon, NY; sister-in-law, Nancy and Ralf Carriuolo; sisters, Bonnie VanGennip and Ellen and Richard Rebban, both of Rochester, NY; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2017 at St Peter’s Catholic Church in LaGrange, GA with a Celebration of Life and visitation with family to follow at Dallis-Dodd Presbyterian Church Hall at 1244 Wares Cross Road, LaGrange, GA.

 

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Nancy T. Munzert.
